Extra Plateaux can have an irregular grain structure or blank spots with no grain. Even so, many times the pipemaker will be able to cut the grainless parts away and make excellent pipes from these plateaux.

We divide them in three categories: Large, Medium and Small.

All plateaux are flawless and properly cured and dried.
